Our History

We are a young church, and commenced around two years ago, being planted in Chatteris, to reach out to provide a church for people who do not go to church. We have been meeting together for virtually all of that time in the King Edward Centre in Railway Lane.

Sensing the leading of the Holy Spirit to plant a church, in Chatteris, Philip Nowland approached the existing ministers in the town and the regional superintendent of the Eastern Region of Assemblies of God, to seek their further guidance as to the rightness of the apparent calling. This was unanimously confirmed by all parties, who gave the new work their blessing.
